Goose Pot & Goose Top

Goose Pot and Goose Top are twins who are very silly, just like Pop Pop. They are so silly that they walk upside down. They only walk right side up when it is raining. The twins love apples so much that they eat five apples a day! When the twins write, they write their names upside down. Goose Pot and Goose Top only come out when people are asleep because they don't like to be seen. Whenever I think about Goose Pot and Goose Top, I just roll with laughter!
Goose Pot and Goose Top are very clever. They have worked out a plan to know when we're asleep. They run a tiny cord from their home inside children's mattresses to near their pillows. The cord is attached to a radio at one end and a microphone at the other end. They use this equipment to hear and know when the children are asleep. Once the breathing on the radio turns to snoring, they go out and play fun games. They ride tiny bikes, have races, and play with Lincoln Logs.

One night I outsmarted them. This is how I did it. I saw one of the tiny cords leading up to my bed. I moved it through a hole in the wall that led to my brother's room, and then went to his room and put the microphone on his pillow. That night they thought they heard me snoring, but it was really my brother! I was still awake! When those silly twins came out, I saw them! They were playing their fun games as I watched them. They had no idea I was awake! The next morning I told my family what I saw. I said, "Those were the silliest twins I have ever seen!"

Ensiny.

Ensiny is a neat food. It is made from hard, small,yellow kernels that explode when they get really hot.Then they become white and fluffy.you season ensiny with butter white cheddar,caramel,or anything you want.And when youre done making that delicious ensiny you eat it up. Ensiny is yummy!

The Reese's Race Car

While we were going on a trip, running some errands, we saw a Reese's race car! We saw it at Sam's in the parking lot. We were leaving the store when we saw it! We went over and looked at it. Steven was very excited!

The seat that the race car driver sat in looked like a giant child's car seat! It was so cool! And there weren't any other seats in the car. There were also no headlights. Instead of headlights, it had stickers of headlights! And there were little flaps to keep the car from flipping over. Race cars used to be all solid so the race cars flipped over easily. The flaps lift up to let out the air, and that keeps the car from flipping over. But they still sometimes flip over.

It was fun to see a real race car! We loved learning about it!

Different Kinds of Breads

Today I was reading on WorldBookKids.com. I learned about ballet, dancing, mosaics, pottery, gold, jade, crayons, and bread. Today I'm going to write about bread.

There are three different kinds of bread. There is flat bread, yeast bread, and quick bread. There always has to be yeast in yeast bread. Yeast bread rises and then bakes. Quick bread is bread like muffins and cake. Quick bread is also quick to put together because it doesn't have to have yeast, which takes a long time to rise. That is why it is called quick bread. Flat bread is breads like tortillas. They are also easy to make like quick bread. I know they're easy because I've made them before! Homemade tortillas aren't as round as store bought tortillas, but they are very good!
